Ninja Ramen & Thai
Everything begins with a little spark! This logo was created for a favorite local ramen shop to show how an update to current branding opens the possibilities to a new look. Some businesses in a small town will have the same logo they made 15 years ago that no longer fits what the company has come, so I wanted to create this update to show how much further a branding can reach into a community.
Above is the current branding for the company and below is my facelift interpretation that allows the brand to breathe new life into the company and the community.
This is the original sketch of the logo as it came to fruition. After a long time spent on brainstorming, this image came to me in a flurry that resulted in my grabbing a post-it to catch the idea out of the air quickly before it was lost.
Ephemera is one of the most important and cost saving marketing pieces to take advantage of in branding. This is a sticker mockup of the new branding to show how the logo lives and breathes in the real world, and how it can be used to grab people's attention.
This is an expanded marketing shirt that features the signature mascot ninja in a more realized fashion. This shirt encompasses the Japanese influences while still being completely original. This could be staff shirts or merchandise that can be sold to the public. The point of making the eye catching branding for a hip restaurant is to make it impossible to ignore by the base demographic.
This is the fully realized logo with the color palette and added flair to show off the spectacle of a new design.
This is a print option for the expanded branding design. This can be used as marketing collateral in the form of posters and post-cards for their consumers to advertise by word of mouth.

On top of the fancy and fun, it's important to show a company's serious side as well. Here is an example of embellished stationary that keeps the company fun, forward, and professional.
