South Texas Bone & Joint
South Texas Bone and Joint is a local medical company that works hard to attend to all bone-related pains and needs for the greater Coastal Community. After being in business for 50 years, the company was searching for a new look for their brand that aligned to their ideals. Below is my solution to their creative problem.
The company wanted to have a stone texture carving for their new building with the new logo. So I created this mockup to show that not only was this logo clean and easily identifiable, but that it had a strong recognizable silhouette.
No company look professional until they have a card. This card back was for the doctors on the board to see how the card would look and feel with a new branding look with colors not too far from the original and added medical greens.
In a medical facility, every piece of paper is branded. Not all printers have ink, so its important to clarify that regardless of print colors, this logo would elevate and improve everything from the ground up.
The company was looking to create more brand awareness by participating in new community events. Sticker Marketing tactics would be perfect for the student athletes that they treat and create a small wave of informative marketing.
The company constantly is buying merchandise such as mugs for their employees and doctors to rep, so this mockup was made to show how it would feel in their hands.
This was the first image that brought the branding fully alive to the CEO. He was taken aback to realize how tangible the logo felt and how much cleaner it was in comparison to their current branding.
With over 300+ medical staff and workers, its only natural to show how it would look on a doctor in their lab coat. This mockup was an example of how the logo can be used in the office.
The previous logo as stated by the client was illegible in smaller scales, had gradients that printers could never get just right, the details in the palm tree were always lost against the yellow, and the text could never be separated. My solution answered all their problems, became unique against all branding in the South Texas community, and allows for even larger execution of branding in the future.
I went through dozens of sketches before landing on the winner, and the winning sketch in the end set the path for what I wanted to achieve. Feature here is a picture of the final sketch that lead to the branding you see here.
